The video is, I think, a masterpiece. It was banned from UK broadcasting - I think it only got aired once.
It strikes me - what do videos get into trouble for today?
An over-exposed celebrity showing too much skin, or the fake-sex looking too much like real sex? Product placement? Sexual swear words? All expensively crafted to get more publicity and sales.
Would we possibly have a song about the fallacy of the war on terror/iraq/afghanistan, or about the (class) war waged on us by bankers and politicians be number 1 for 9 weeks?
